Thoughts... by the way

An aside. The one thing that makes sense of the play.

Byron's is better.

Do you know how cool it is to fly in a single engine aircraft?

Pretty stinking.

Do you know how cool it is to be the first passenger in a single engine aircraft flown by Brett Leake who got his pilot's license less than a week ago?

Even better.

I got the call this afternoon about one and within the hour we were in the air, headed south to Owensboro home of the "famous" Moonlite BBQ. Kentucky is proud of this place. I think it's just because it's been open for a long time. I was not impressed. With the barbecue. I hate to say it but Lloyd's from the refrigerated section at Kroger is just as good.

Does it have to be said?

Does everyone not already know?

The greatest barbecue available in the world is found at Byron's Smokehouse in Auburn, Alabama. Everyday after two they have a special. Two chipped sandwiches, a small side, and a drink for five bucks, even. That is except for Sunday and Saturday during football season. Why can't you get barbecue on Saturdays in the fall? Because they cater the Letterman's Lounge in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Big shock.

Nothing but the best for the best.

Isn't that a pretty picture?

When favorites collide.

How excited was I to run across this picture? Two of my all time favorites, Ryan Adams and Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, once performed together. And here's the proof.

Up, up, and away...

Yesterday, I flew in a hot-air balloon.

Not gonna lie here, it was pretty amazing.
